About Juice Junkies
Fort Worth's first raw, organic juice bar. Pressing every bottle in our own kitchen since 2013.

Our story
Juice Junkies opened on November 19, 2013 as the first raw, organic juice bar in Fort Worth. It was founded by Hillary Biediger: born and raised in Fort Worth, a former dancer with the Fort Worth Ballet, a Texas Wesleyan graduate and a performer with Casa Mañana. She built it for a health-conscious community that wanted real, fresh juice close to home.

From regulars to owners
"We're too late."
Ben and Kevin were juicing and drinking green smoothies back in the early 2000s, and they always talked about opening a juice bar of their own. Then Ben saw a press release announcing Juice Junkies. He sent it to Kevin with three words: "We're too late."
So they became regulars instead, and brought their families along. Favorites around their tables included Good Vibrations (Ben's standing order: no sugar, add spinach), Magic Carpet Ride, Waterloo Sunset, Green River and Panama Red, with Power Balls and kale chips on the side.
In July 2024, when Hillary was ready to move on to other things, Ben and Kevin bought the business. They wanted to see a Fort Worth institution, and the juice and smoothies they had been drinking for a decade, carry on.
Same juice, a few new favorites
We kept everything that made Juice Junkies what it is. The juices and smoothies are the same recipes our regulars know, and Elsa, who has been with Juice Junkies for more than ten years, still runs our kitchen, making all of our grab-and-go food and formulating the juices on bottling days.
What we have done is add to the menu. When we took over there was one kind of Power Ball. We quickly added Dark Chocolate and a nut-free Power Ball made with SunButter, so kids can take them to school. Later that year every Power Ball moved to certified gluten-free ingredients, and last year came Lil' Power Balls, bite-size versions of the same thing. We have also added a new kale chip flavor, a nut-free Squirrel Trax and more snack mixes.
Why we still press our own
More than a decade later, most juice in town comes from chains and franchises that make it somewhere else, then heat it or use high-pressure processing so it can sit in the bottle for a month or longer. We do it the way Juice Junkies always has: organic produce, pressed in our own kitchen and bottled raw. No heat, no pasteurizing, no high-pressure processing.
Certified organic produce is grown without synthetic pesticides and chemical fertilizers, which matters when you are drinking a pound or more of produce in one bottle. A cold press grinds produce and then presses the juice out, instead of spinning it at high speed, so more of the flavor, color and nutrients end up in your bottle.
What we make
Our menu has grown up around the juice: cold-pressed juices, wellness shots, superfood smoothies, acai bowls, house-made almond milk, a coffee and tea bar, and plant-forward food from breakfast through snacks. We also make juice cleanses, catering and wholesale juice for restaurants and bars.
