Fall in Love with Cinnamon

The benefits of sweet and spicy cinnamon

Cinnamon is widely used in cooking to enhance the flavor of many dishes. But could it benefit our health as well?

Let's take a closer look at the magnificent benefits of cinnamon. Ancient egyptians believed that cinnamon had healthful and medicinal properties. They believed that cinnamon was excellent for brain health and recent studies have found neurological benefits as well.

"cinnamon extracts seem to slow down the progression and even improve some symptoms of neurodegenerative diseases like alzheimer's and parkinson's."

Leesa Klich, MSC, RSN.

Cinnamon is an anti-inflammatory that helps to lesson pain, relieve muscle soreness and swelling. Cinnamon is also great for oral health. It can be used as a mouthwash to reduce plaque and preserve gum health. It also helps reduce bacteria that cause bad breath.
