Cleanse guide
After a cleanse
How to ease back into food after a juice cleanse.
You did it. Congratulations! Now resist the urge to run straight for a steak. How you come off a cleanse matters as much as the cleanse itself.
Day one
Keep it simple: soups, smoothies, raw or lightly steamed vegetables, fruit and a few nuts. Keep avoiding sugar, caffeine, alcohol, wheat, dairy and processed food.
Days two and three
Add more plant foods such as beans, quinoa and brown rice.
Days four and five
Slowly bring back plant-based oils, yogurt and, if you eat it, animal protein. Watch your portions and notice how each food makes you feel.
Keep the good habits
Most people finish a cleanse wanting to hold on to how they feel. A daily cold-pressed juice or a wellness shot is an easy way to do it.
A juice cleanse is not medical treatment. If you are pregnant or nursing, take prescription medication, or are managing a health condition, talk with your doctor before you start. Our juices are raw and unpasteurized. See our disclaimer.
